How was your weekend? I hope it was good. Ours was good. David joined the kids at school Friday morning for a Veteran’s Day breakfast and ceremony. He didn’t stay for the ceremony though, too loud and too many people. The kids didn’t care though. They were just excited that he got to make it. Once David got home we headed out to our local(ish) duck pond and spent the morning trying to hand feed ducks and then spent some time hiking some trails.
Do y’all see this child?! He has no fear when it comes to hiking, climbing, roughness, etc etc.
Now turn off the light however, and he loses his little mind. He actually sleeps with a lamp on (don’t worry, it doesn’t overheat or anything).
Saturday and Sunday went by so quickly. They blur together too because we go from lazy to active at the drop of a hat. At some point we took the kids and Bo to the park, we also went grocery shopping. All five of us. Haha. David needed to get out of the house, we needed food, I’m the grocery shopper, so we all just went.
At some point, I baked banana bread. It was yummy. I actually doubled the recipe so I could make two loaves. We’re still eating on it. Yay!
We also had pancakes for dinner.
And finally got the chance to take Fin & Maddie to the duck park too! We stopped on our way out to buy a loaf of bread. I’m not sure who ate more, Maddie or the ducks. Ha.
There you have it… our weekend in a nutshell. Tune in tomorrow for a fun outfit post.
