Happy almost weekend, friends!
Are you excited that it’s finally Friday? Yeah, it doesn’t make much of a difference to me either.
The kids had Thursday & Friday off for Parent Teacher Conferences & Teacher in service day so my days of the week are basically all jumbled up right now.
Let’s see, Fin got an award for having a “healthy and positive attitude” at school.
Maddie turned 7! She took cupcakes in to school the day before her birthday since on her actual birthday, they were having their little Halloween party.
Owen & I went in and helped set up and hung out for a bit, she was so happy to see us there! She even helped Owen make a plate and she hugged me about a million times. It was adorable.
I went to Fin & Maddie’s parent teacher conferences. They’re both above where they need to be – above the district average & above the national average.
The biggest issue with Fin was that he basically rushes through school work to get back to his book so his homework is sometimes rushed or not as detailed as it should be. I’m not even sure I’m mad about that though. Yes, he should focus on his schoolwork more, but I’m so happy he loves to read.
Outside of Fins classroom was recipes. This is Fin’s.
My little readers waiting for Parent Teacher Conferences to start.
When you first walk into their school, there’s this giant bulletin board showing what kids are excelling at following the P.A.T.H.
Do you recognize that little girl by the T? Yay, Maddie!
Owen started Part-day PreK! Like the one he was going to in Georgia only this one is 2 days a week instead of 3. He’s only gone twice now but so far seems to love it. His actual teacher was on vacation so hopefully he likes her as much as the current one. I’m sure he will, he met her & has asked about her so that’s good.
Grocery shopping doesn’t quit because two of the three kids have no school that day. Luckily for me, they’re pretty good helpers. They helped me push the cart, helped me carry in groceries, helped me unload and put away, and definitely helped me choose groceries. I feel like I have enough cereal to feed an army & then enough chips to provide them with snacks for a month! Crazy kids!
And while I’ve got you…. you should enter this awesome giveaway!
