We bought our first house last summer. Since then we’ve put in a LOT of time and work to turn it into our perfect little home. So far, we’ve come a LONG way! Heck, within the first week we’d already painted half of the house, tore down wallpaper in most of the rooms, ripped up half of the backyard, and unpacked out house.
Anyway, today I thought I’d share the kitchen process. It’s still got a good way to til it’s totally finished, but I’m pretty proud of it so far.
Here’s the before from the listing
And then these are from when we started moving in.
I plan on replacing the fridge with a black one soon. I also need to update the electrical outlets – I only replaced the covers so far.
I also have plans to change the counter top as well as change the cabinet colors a bit.
I’m undecided on the color of this little table… and of the color of the banister behind it. That just depends on how the rest of it comes together.
I have a plan for that little bread box as well. Be on the lookout for it.
(We don’t usually have this much cereal, I had literally just gone grocery shopping and they had some sales that I couldn’t pass up on)
I’m so excited to finish this up. I can’t wait to share final projects with you guys, although I’m pretty sure it’ll never really be completely done. I change things around OFTEN. (It’s what happens when you basically rent for so long and can’t really paint or change much). What do you think about it so far?
