Happy end of the weekend, friends. How was your weekend? Ours was LONG! I think that is just the greatest word to describe it. Owen and I spent all day Friday helping my mom and brother move out, then Friday night, I rushed to get ready for the ball. (More on that later) Saturday was basically spent being totally lazy and doing a lot of nothing and then Sunday after we helped pack up the rest of my mom and brother’s stuff and sent them on their way (bittersweet! I had to make my own coffee this morning, mom usually had it premade and ready for me to just press ‘start’. And then, I didn’t even wake up to Selina (mom’s cat) pestering me and stalking me until I fed her. It’s been a weird Monday morning, guys. Speaking of the ball though, let me just share this with you really fast.
Look at that hair, you guys! Insert all the heart eyed faces here, right?! Not trying to toot my own hair, (Okay, maybe I am a little) but that hair is just my favorite. It looks so pretty straightened. I also am totally obsessed with the color of it! Aren’t you?! I’ve been using Brilliant Brunette® Visibly Brighter™ products by John Frieda that I grabbed up from Walmart for about two weeks now. Read the first post over here.
What do you think? Do you see a difference? I definitely do! The ends are lighter for sure and I love subtle highlights that are coming through. I love the Brilliant Brunette® Visibly Brighter™ Subtle Lightening Shampoo and Conditioner! Aside from it being a new product, I love that it gradually brightens for a more natural-looking sun-kissed brunette. I love that it just illuminates glowing tones, and I love that it’s visibly boosted the brightness of my hair daily, just by me washing it! (If you can’t find it in store, you can order it online!)
I also used the new Brilliant Brunette® Visibly Brighter™ In-Shower Treatment. Did you know that it INSTANTLY lightens for sun-kissed brunette hair? It lightens up to 1 shade just right then and there! It only lightens the natural spectrum, so your hair won’t appear bleached or orange (YAY, right?!) and it’s totally safe for natural, highlighted, and color-treated brunettes! Score!!
Now, while I’ve still got your attention, let me show you my go-to hair style lately! Seriously, SO easy, SO quick, SO cute! Unless you ask a male. Then you may hear that you look like you have a pile of poop on your hair, but men just don’t know, so ignore that! Haha.
For this you’ll need the following.
Easy enough, right?! What do you think? What’s your go-to hairdo?
