How long was your Thanksgiving break? The kids had the whole week off. At first I was worried that we’d get cabin fevery, but it’s actually been a really nice change of pace from the normal wake up, go, go go, go, go, sleep, repeat that everyday life brings us.
Owen asked for a photo of him and his monkey ornament. He wants me to print it off for him so he can keep it. Along with a photo of the tiger from the zoo (this one) and one of him and his friend Owen W at Owen W’s birthday party a few weeks ago.
The last one I understand. The other ones… “sure, dude”.
We kicked off our Thanksgiving break with PIE FOR BREAKFAST! I wasn’t joking when I said we had pie for breakfast… a lot.
David & I joined Miss Maddie and her class for pie breakfast and oh goodness, it was delicious! There was an oreo mint something or other and you guys… my belly was soooo happy! It was just such a nice start to the day.
Fin’s class had a pancake breakfast. I assumed he’d skip breakfast at home and be way excited to eat breakfast at school. He was, but he referred to it as “Second breakfast” and still devoured a giant bowl of cereal before school. Haha. Maddie on the other hand had to be told to at least eat a piece of toast because she didn’t want anything but PIE! Owen’s Kindergarten class made a soup and everyone got to bring in ONE ingredient. Owen brought in one carrot. He was also a pilgrem at school and all of the Kindgerten classes had a mini barter day. It was adorable. He came home with a mini toy horse from a preschool friend and a pencil from another preschool friend. He was SO excited to get to see them and hang out with them for a little while.

We saw Thor:Ragnarok and ooooooooh it was good! David and I were cracking up the entire time. The kids were giggling their little heads off. Seriously, it was good.
And that’s pretty much it. It was good. I hope yours was too 🙂
I’d love to hear about it! Drop a comment letting me know how your Thanksgiving was.
