I don’t know about you guys, but football has become pretty popular in our house. Before we had kids neither of us much cared or paid attention. Now though, we have favorite teams, we occasionally let Fin stay up later than Maddie & Owen so that he can finish watching the game. He wakes up and asks us who won if we don’t allow him to stay up longer. And we try to vote for different teams just to keep some competition going. Fin loves it when he realizes that his team has won! He just gets so excited about it and loves to brag a little. It’s pretty entertaining.
Me however, I don’t much care about sports. GASP! I know! Does that put me on bad lists or something? I grew up in band so would always be at the high school games & even then, meh. BUT, I am a foodie and I do definitely love the food that I get to whip up on game days! In my book, that’s the best part about sports! *wink*
Speaking of foods though, today I thought I’d share with you one of my favorite game day recipes! It’s so super easy to make and so yummy!
I headed to my local Albertsons to get my shopping on!
For this you will need:
1 package of cream cheese
1 cup Shredded cheddar cheese
1 bunch, chopped Green onions
2 tbpn Worcestershire sauce
Dried beef, chopped and diced
A case of Coca-Cola (to enjoy while eating the cheeseball).
Mix all of your ingredients together (except for a few slices of the dried beef to make the football laces when you’re done)
Form it into a ball and add your “laces”
Pair it with your Ritz® crackers and serve! It’s SO yummy!
