My little sister just moved to town, well about an hour away to my Mom’s town. But, we went out to see them yesterday & in the process of visiting, had a chat about how long it had been since we’d seen each other, how big the kids were, etc etc… then we got to talking about how old we all are now and WHOA. That’s a weird one. I feel young, I feel great… however when I see myself in the mirror, I can see signs of aging. That’s not always a bad thing – I’ve been blessed with a good life up until now, and am OK with my laugh wrinkles overall, but if I also really like seeing the shock on stranger’s faces when they realize that I have older kids and not just my preschooler. I love seeing them try to do math to figure out how old I am when I say that my oldest is almost 10.
Y’all…. my oldest is almost TEN. It’s high time to invest in a good cream, don’t you think!? Something hiding the fact that I’ve been tired for the last decade, maybe?! 😉
Applying this to my skin was such a little treat. It smelled good, it was so smooth, it left my skin feeling smooth to the touch. There was no sticky, icky feeling leftover on my skin (I know you know what I mean). I didn’t feel like there was anything on my face & that’s just always a nice bonus.
At Good Housekeeping Institute, GHI’s engineers, scientists, and other experts test products & evaluate them based on a few things: Performance, ease of use, safety, durability, and design. This year, GHK tested the latest Micro-Sculpting Cream formula (found online for under $300) against TEN prestige creams found in most department stores (prices ranging $26-440). Good Housekeeping Institute’s Beauty Lab conducted clinical & blinded consumer studies. Scientists collected more than 10,000 hydration measurements and Olay rose to the top.
At the 3hr mark, Olay moisturized 400% better than a cream nearly 18x in price.
Olay increased moisture by 50% on average over a 24hr period.
In some blind comparisons, costumers preferred Olay 80% of the time over other creams – reporting it felt “rich” without feeling heavy.
Olay improved skin’s texture by 10% in four weeks! That’s impressive, huh?!
These new findings underpin Olay’s commitment to bringing visible anti-aging products to women without premium prices. A recent Olay study with 155,000 women showed that 80% of skin’s anti-aging destiny is in a women’s control and not related to genes.
The new formula contains a new ingredient, Carob Seed Extract that aids in skin repair & regeneration according to in vitro & in vivo testing.
Other ingredients include:
Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) which boosts cell turnover & maintains skin’s moisture barrier.
Amino-peptid helps decrease the appearance of fine lines & wrinkles.
Panthenol (Vitamin B5) soothes & moisturizes the skin
Vitamin E is an oil-soluble anti-oxidant which protects against free radicals.
Olivem is a derivative of olive oil that’s been modified to increase the penetration of anti-aging ingredients into the skin’s stratum conium
Glycerin & Hyaluronic Acid -humectants with intense miniaturization properties.
I haven’t used this for the full 4 weeks yet, but overall I’m pretty pleased with this product.
You simply apply it to your face & neck morning & night to clean skin. So easy, huh?!
