July was a fun month. We got a few home projects knocked out, like our dining room table. That thing still makes me so happy.
We also did our annual July Thanksgiving. I shared my favorite potato recipe & we made a kitchen stand.
If you move around a lot, you should check out this post about immediate home purchases. I also shared some funny pictures in that one.
Park trips & skinned knees happened quite a bit this month too.
July was the month that David came home from a summer spent in the field.
August sent Fin to 4th grade, Maddie to 2nd & Owen off to preschool. I LOL’d so hard reading what Owen wanted to be when he grew up. I’d forgotten all about that.
I shared some lunch packing tips as well as easy ways to instill healthy habits in your kids.
We found out that David would probably be booted out of the army for medical reasons. And we celebrated Finnie dinnie doo turning 9!
I also shared why I don’t force the boys to cut their hair.
In October, I shared some tasty fall no bake treats.
I also shared a quick halloween printable.
We spent a few afternoons at the park just enjoying the weird October weather.
Fin got an award and I shared about the time that David & I went to a Rocky Horror Picture Show.
And I recommended some books. I still stand by those recommendations.
I recapped our Halloween.
November is the month that we found out David would be medically retired. Goodbye, Army life..
Owen’s preschool class made stone soup.
We all got flu shots and it was a mess. And I added a new mug to my collection!
I had a miscarriage.
I shared two recipes.
My tube ended up rupturing and I needed surgery.
We attempted gingerbread trains.
I shared with you our christmas sweaters (that we practically lived in)
I rambled about my last labwork and my new chalkboard marker obsession.
I chatted about the kids’ winter break.
I shared about our Christmas.
And then I shared part one of the 2016 recap
